I recently purchased a new crossbody bag...nothing fancy or huge. On the contrary, it's quite compact. For those who don't know, I am a mother to a one year old and anytime I carry a large purse, it quickly turns into a diaper bag! To remedy this, I bought a Coach Legacy swingpack in Bright Magenta leather. I LOVE it! Not only does it house only my necessities (keys, small wallet, phone, lip gloss), but it's such a bold color which is perfect for the summer. Just enough to give any outfit a pop of color, but nothing over the top. I had the hardest time choosing between the magenta and violet colors (purple is my favorite color) but I think it goes with just about everything in my casual summer wardrobe! Best of all, it's hands free so I can run after my little one and not worry about losing my purse or any of its contents. Winning! I know I mentioned lip gloss..this summer I've been wearing a peach/coral color called Richer, Lusher from MAC just about every single day! It's not sticky and it gives my lips such a pretty, sheer wash of color. Personally, I am against carrying lipsticks in hot weather because in my experience they will melt in this Texas heat and ruin just about everything in your bag! Not a good look at all. Anyway, I digress. Back to the bag. If you are looking for a bold statement, piece to add color to your wardrobe but are not really into trendy items, a colorful bag can really pack a powerful punch. Neon colors and metallics are "in" right now and there are tons of styles to choose from! This is an easy way to spruce up your wardrobe without breaking the bank :-)
